Details
Carniverous bird, preying on herbivorous animals such as birds, small animals, monkeys and sloths. They can also catch land animals such as rabbits. They have very strong feet with claws. On a daily basis the eagle is almost always by itself, and only pairs up with other eagles during mating season. Measure approximately 95 cm (3ft), and can weigh between 5 and 8 kg (11 to 18 lbs).
