The males have developed horns. Their fur is a reddish color with areas of white near their stomachs, and a brown neck. The babies also possess a number of white patches. The females do not have any antlers. Their ears are small and rounded. Their principle diet is fruit, mushrooms, fallen flowers, herbs, and leaves when the fruit is scarce.
